Bosnia and Herzegovina is on the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. Its countryside is home to medieval villages, rivers and lakes, plus the craggy Dinaric Alps. National capital Sarajevo has a well preserved old quarter, Baščaršija, with landmarks like 16th-century Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque. Ottoman-era Latin Bridge is the site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which ignited World War I.

Sarajevo
Sarajevo is the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a population of 275,524. It is surrounded by the Dinaric Alps and situated along the Miljacka River in the heart of the Balkans.
Banja Luca
Banja Luka is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, known for its abundance of green spaces, parks, and avenues, which is why many popularly refer to it as the “city of greenery.” Population: 227,000.
Mostar
Mostar, on the banks of the Neretva River, is the largest city in Herzegovina and one of the most beautiful cities. The Old Bridge and the Old Town are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Jajce
Jajce is one of the most significant historical cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, boasting a rich cultural heritage as well as fascinating natural attractions that draw a large number of tourists.

Jajce
The ancient capital of the Bosnian kings, 29 miles (47 km) south of Banja Luka, on the Vrbas River.
See the Turkish wooden water mills on the rapids of the Pliva River.and the nearby falls of the Pliva into the Vrbas canyon.
The Jajce fortress is a symbol and pride of this city, located in the heart of the Old Town and believed to have been built in the thirteenth century.

Kravica waterfall
Kravica Waterfall (Serbo-Croatian: Slap Kravica or Vodopad Kravica / Слап Кравица or Водопад Кравица) is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Ljubuški and 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Mostar.
Srebrenica
A small mountain town, with its main industry being salt mining and a nearby spa, site of the genocidal killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys during the Bosnian War in 1995, commemorated at the Srebrenica_Genocide_Memorial
